Is your company looking to improve your profitability?  To grow and improve the return for all stakeholders?  Or just to hold the line in uncertain economic times.  Big data has become the modern silver bullet to address these issue.  But how good is more data if our measurements are wrong?

Companies must to use financial tools that move them toward their goal. In this session, you will learn that Throughput Accounting is the only method to ensure the decisions you make satisfy these requirements.  Throughput Accounting provides managers with a transparent and focused method to make decisions that consistently lead them in the right direction. Through better managerial decision making, Throughput Accounting improves a company’s ability to make more money now and in the future. When questions arise around outsourcing products, process improvement, or purchasing capital equipment, throughput accounting will provide the right answer.

Throughput Accounting has become a key component in successful process improvement initiatives as companies learn to use existing data in their accounting systems to make reliable decisions about their future.  In this session, John will introduce you to key concepts of Theory of Constraints and demonstrate how you can use throughput accounting within this framework.  Be prepared to learn why traditional cost accounting can mislead you and participate in hands-on exercises to learn the power of throughput accounting.
