Scott Ferris, CPM, Special Investigator II, Kansas Bureau of Investigation is an experienced investigator with a demonstrated history of working in the law enforcement industry. He is a strong protective services professional with a double Bachelor's degree focused in Criminology and Sociology from The University of Kansas. Retired KBI Special Agent in Charge, Scott previously oversaw the KBI’s NE Region Field Investigations and managed an anti-terrorism task force from 2004 - 2010. Prior to that he served as KBI Intelligence Program Manager for 11 years specializing in white collar -fraud investigations and also worked homicide, child abuse and other violent crime cases. Scott retired for all of 2 months in 2016 after 36 years total service then came back as a part-time Special Investigator.
